Join us as we read colourful, inspiring and engaging stories that spark imagination and creative play! Each class will start with Open Studio then we will read a new book and create a take home project inspired by the story. 

This program is a “caregiver and me” class that is taught by a Registered Early Childhood Educator and Ontario Certified Teacher. 

Your young creator will have opportunities to work with new materials and real tools and explore their unique creative interests. It encourages imagination and new ideas. Each week will include take home art projects and science experiments.

We’re not just dyeing shirts! We’re learning various dying techniques including fabric dyeing, Shibori Indigo dyeing, marbling technique, and more. Children will work with various fabrics, ceramics, and paper throughout the session. 

Welcome to a totally new way to create! This class teaches children pottery techniques using natural and air dry clay. Children learn techniques like wedging, slab building, coiling and pinching. Students will eventual learn to work with the wheel as well. We will work on a select few take home projects while also learning to play with this natural material. 

This class is an introduction to art making and science experiments. We are laying the foundations for process art skills and encourage free flowing creativity. Each week features a variety of mixed media art experiences and science experiments.

Join us outdoors for big projects and experiments that we just can't do inside the studio! We're so lucky to have a great little forest right in the heart of downtown so we'll be exploring all that it offers while creating special take home projects. 

Raining? Not to worry! If it calls for rain we will move our class indoors to the studio and families will be notified by 9:00 am. 

*This class will take place at Rotary Park next to the baseball diamonds. Appropriate outdoor attire is required including boots, coats, and hats. 

Crafty children are introduced to a new form of creative expression! This introductory class will introduce basic sewing concepts and children will have the opportunity to create pillows, bags, and scrunchies. 

Pop in with your yarn and hooks and hang out with us to create! Our instructor can show your child some basic patterns or you can work independently. We have hooks if you'd prefer to use ours.

Parents and children are welcome to work together in this club.

Baby Art Crawl is a "caregiver and me” class and we use a variety of materials and sensory play items to engage our babies. Most of the materials are taste safe however we do work on special projects where we will be using other items to make as keepsakes.

During the class the babies do get very messy. It is recommended to bring a complete change of clothes for the baby as well as an extra shirt and pants for yourself, just in case. You will also want to have a towel and some baby soap on hand as we do sometimes get super messy that you’ll want to wash your baby quickly before heading home. 

Young artists can explore the vibrant world of watercolour painting in this fine art class. Designed to build technical skills and enhance fine art abilities through fun and engaging techniques this class will explore gradient work to create smooth colour transitions, practice glazing to achieve rich, layered effects, and learn feathering to add delicate, intricate details to their paintings and much more! With hands-on guidance and plenty of creative freedom, your child will develop their artistic talents while having a blast with colors and textures!

Join us to explore the limitless possibilities of Lego! Children will work independently on a Lego structure during each class and will also use Lego in new and creative ways including in art experiences and science experiments. We encourage imagination and problem solving through various challenges throughout the session.
